Entangled was exhibited in ProKK’s total installation exhibition Songs From the Woods on the theme of how nature is changed as a result of human intervention.

The artist group Temporary Stays and Moves work process-oriented and the installation is an abstract three-dimensional image created on the spot.

The work examines the concepts of ‘interconnectivity and interaction’ through the creation of amorphic forms which interact with the forest visually and form-wise. The red organic forms grow and develop in an ostensibly symbiotic or parasitic relationship with the trees.

The project is developed and carried out by the artist group Temporary Stays and Moves:
Anja Christensen, Birgitte Munk, Bodil Porse, Dorte Kyhn, Katrine Hvid, Sanne Grauengaard, Sanne Ransby and Ulrik Lund.

Songs From the Woods was an artistic intervention in Riis Skov in August 2016 in which the forest park was the setting of a collective artistic examination of the forest’s aesthetic potentials and the relationship between humans and nature.

Songs From the Woods was a part of ProKK’s exhibition programme for the Aarhus European Capital of Culture 2017.
