BIRGITTE MUNK
Visual Artist
Birgitte Munk’s practice revolves around time, attention, and movement.
By zooming in on a place, a subject, or a mood, she explores connections, patterns, and phenomena as points of departure for reinterpretation and storytelling.
Her works emerge in the tension between observed reflection, systematic investigation, unforeseen events, and conscious decisions – taking shape as photography, printmaking, objects, or installations.
Within the artistic collaboration Munk & Jerichau, Birgitte Munk and Vibeke Jerichau work together on the conception, development, and production of graphic works and exhibitions focusing on photogravure.
At Enter Artspace, Birgitte Munk curates and presents exhibitions by Danish and international contemporary artists.
