Temporary Stays and Moves (TSM) is a series of performative works which examine the inquisitive as well as the concepts of transformation and mobility. Physical intimacy and spontaneity are central to the group’s work when they move out into public space with tents and trolleys.

Temporary Stays and Moves/Trolley is a performative piece in which a group of people move around in public space – entirely uncoordinated, but seekingly – dragging trolleys behind them while moving through the masses of people.

The group looks just like any other group of normal people, but is characterized by a certain material heaviness and the monotonous sound of trolley wheels – tempo, movement, pause.

Trolley aims to create a performative image of the unease that dominates our modern world.

The project is developed and created by Anja Christensen, Birgitte Munk, Bodil Porse, Dorte Kyhn, Katrine Hvid, Sanne Grauengaard, Sanne Ransby and Ulrik Lund

NOMAD is a part of ProKK’s exhibition programme for Aarhus as a European Capital of Culture 2017.
