BIRGITTE MUNK
Visual Artist
Time, attention and movement are themes that I pursue. My working methods alternate between spontaneous incidents, reflected observations and systematic studies.
By zooming in I seek to enhance undiscovered connections, patterns and phenomena so they become visible and available for reinterpretation and storytelling.
It is somewhere in-between the conscious decisions and the unpredictable occurences that my works find their forms as either photographs, graphic prints, objects or installations.
Since 2011 I have had an on-going collaboration with visual artist Iben West. Under the name of BIT/ we create site-specific exhibitions and happenings.
